Resonance is an interactive sound and light sculpture centered around a glass bowl of illuminated water resting on a pedestal. In stillness, the surface remains calm as a low hum fills the space. When a participant places their hand above the water, the sound deepens into a resonant drone and geometric ripples begin to form, projected outward as shifting patterns of light. The closer the hand moves, the more intense the vibration and movement become. Yet the moment the water is touched, both sound and motion abruptly cease. Inspired by meditation, the piece reflects how effort disrupts stillness, suggesting that peace arises through presence rather than force.
